The UNESCO Chair on Community Media, Department of Communication, University of Hyderabad is looking for a recent communication graduate, with a Masters degree, to work as a Research Assistant on a project commissioned by an international agency on community radio in India.
A candidate with a good academic record, with evidence of exposure to and experience in community media and communication research would be preferred.  Additionally, those who qualified in the UGC NET exam, but not currently working on their MPhil/PhD, would have an advantage.
The project appointment will be for a period of 5 months, from February 15-June 15.  A consolidated amount of Rs. 20,000 per month will be paid to the selected candidate. The place of work will be Hyderabad.
